Unscrew the module from the silencer and place both parts in warm water with a mild soap. Let them sit overnight, then wipe off dirt and grime/grease from the parts with a cloth or brush. Blow the rest of the silencer dry with compressed air. Please see this video on how to clean your silencer.

We recommend cleaning your Svemko silencer after 300 shots or once a year. If the silencer will not be used for a long time, we recommend cleaning it before storage.

There will be a small difference, a few dBc. However, a .30 cal Svemko silencer on a 6.5 mm will work perfectly fine.

IMPORTANT: Never use a silencer with a caliber that is smaller than a rifle caliber. If you are unsure, please contact your local dealer.

A silencer should be stored in a dry place and should NEVER be stored mounted on a weapon. Removing the silencer from the rifle prevents corrosive gasses from the silencer entering the barrel during storage.

We always recommend using hearing and eye protection when shooting, either with or without a silencer.

Silencers are legal in most European countries, but not all. Rules regarding silencer use is also different for each country (e.g. some countries require a hunting licence to purchase a silencer, some do not). Be sure to check with your local authorities in order to get the correct information regarding the legal status of using silencers.
