1. Introduction
By buying our products through our network of distributors and dealers, accessing and browsing the Websites, creating an account, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. These Terms and Conditions apply to all end-users as well as businesses, or people representing businesses.
Please note: Svemko does not sell any products directly to end-users from its Websites. All Svemko products are sold through Svemko’s network of distributors and dealers.
2. Eligibility & Key Definitions
Eligibility for purchase of Svemko products
You must be (a) at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and (b) legally permitted to purchase, possess, or use our products where you reside and where delivery occurs. Certain products are restricted and may require proof of license, end-use statements, and/or export/import authorizations.
Eligibility for using our Websites (www.svemko.com and www.svemko-defence.com)
You must be 18 years of age or older to use our Websites. By submitting information through the Websites, you represent that you meet this age qualification.
Business vs. Consumer
If you buy on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind the business. “Consumer” means a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
Defence & Law Enforcement Products (“Professional Products”)
Please note: We do not sell any Professional products to civilians. All products listed at www.svemko-defence.com are strictly for professional use.
3. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Changes apply from publication on the Websites and will not retroactively affect confirmed orders unless required by law. If changes are material, we may provide reasonable notice (e.g., banner, email to account holders).
4. Website Use (Terms of Use)
4.1 License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Websites for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:
- misuse, probe, or breach the Websites’ security;
- copy, scrape, crawl, frame, or mirror content except as allowed by law;
- upload malware or interfere with the Websites’ functionality;
- use the Websites to infringe third-party rights or applicable laws (including sanctions/export laws);
- misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authorization.
4.2 Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or risk to the Websites.
4.3 Intellectual Property
All content on the Websites (including text, graphics, logos, product images, documents, and code) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by IP laws. You may not use our trademarks, trade dress, or product imagery without prior written consent, except for lawful, descriptive use.
4.4 Submissions
Any communication or material you transmit to the Site by electronic mail or otherwise will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By transmitting or posting any communications or materials to this Site, you agree that Svemko or any of their affiliates may use your communications or materials for any purpose, including reproduction, transmission, publication, broadcast, and posting. Svemko and their affiliates are free to use any ideas, concepts, or know-how contained in such communications or materials for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing, distributing, and marketing products using such information. You agree that no materials you submit on the Websites will violate any rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights. You are and shall remain solely responsible for the content of any materials you submit to or post on the Websites.
4.5 Third-Party Links & Tools
The Websites may link to third-party Websites or tools. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, security, or practices. Use at your own risk and review their terms and privacy notices.
4.6 Availability & Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the Websites without notice. We are not liable for unavailability or loss resulting from maintenance, upgrades, or events beyond our control.
5. Right of Withdrawal / Returns
5.1 Consumers in the EEA/UK
If you are a Consumer, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right for purchases, starting the day after delivery, subject to statutory exceptions (e.g., customized goods, sealed items not suitable for return if unsealed).
To exercise, notify your point of sale (dealer or distributor) within the period and return the product in resaleable condition.
5.2 Business Customers / Non-returnable Items
For business customers, returns are subject to our RMA policy and prior written authorization. Certain items (e.g., custom builds, special orders, products exposed to hazardous use, or regulated components) may be non-returnable except for confirmed defects under warranty.
6. Svemko Limited Warranty
6.1 Warranty Coverage
Svemko warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use, provided that the product is properly installed, maintained, and used in accordance with Svemko’s published guidelines (see our Maintenance under FAQs and read the Instruction Manual). This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction.
Remedy: At our discretion, we will repair or replace any defective product or part that qualifies under this warranty, free of charge, subject to the terms below.
If replaced, the replacement unit or part will be under warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period (or as required by applicable law), but not extended.
6.2 Warranty Periods by Model / Registration

* To obtain the extended warranty term, you must register the product online (at warranty.Svemko.com or via the portal within 60 days from the original date of purchase. Failure to register means the product is covered only by statutory warranties (e.g., consumer protection laws), not the extended term.
6.3 What Is Not Covered / Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, finish wear)
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, or improper handling
- Damage caused by use of ammunition or calibers outside Svemko’s published specifications
- Failures or damage arising from overuse (exceeding firing-rate limits, burst rates beyond spec)
- Damage from improper mounting, misalignment, incorrect torque, or unauthorized alterations
- Corrosion, rust, or oxidation caused by improper storage (e.g. leaving the silencer mounted, exposure to humidity)
- Damage from foreign objects, debris, or obstruction (e.g. bullet strikes, stuck muzzle devices)
- Modifications, disassembly, or repairs by unauthorized persons
- Use of non-Svemko parts which adversely affect performance
- Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or in grey/unauthorized channels
Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (e.g. loss of use, downtime, freight) to the maximum extent permitted by law
If the threads and assembly are not performed by a certified gunsmith.
6.4 How to Submit a Warranty Claim (Claim Flow)
Contact your local dealer or distributor (point of sale). You can also contact us at support@svemko.com, however, the dealer or distributor will return the product to us.
Provide required information to the dealer or distributor: product model, serial number, date and place of purchase, dealer info, proof of purchase (invoice or receipt), description of the issue, images or video showing defect or damage, approx. round count, caliber / ammo used, cleaning & maintenance history.
Optionally include storage conditions, previous usage notes.
Inspection & Decision
Upon receipt, Svemko inspects the unit. We will determine whether the failure is covered under warranty, and whether repair or replacement is appropriate.
If it is a covered defect, we will proceed with repair or replacement at no additional parts cost.
If we determine it is not a covered failure, we may offer a quote for out-of-warranty repair (see Section 6.5).
Return to Customer
After repair or replacement, we will return the unit to you through our distributors.
Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer (unless otherwise agreed in the RMA process).
6.5 Out-of-Warranty / Non-Covered Repairs
If a failure is deemed non-warranty or falls outside the warranty period, you may request a repair at a fair, quoted cost. Svemko may offer a menu of common services (e.g. end cap replacement, core rebuild, thread repair) with indicative pricing. These repairs are subject to parts/labor and shipping, to be paid by the customer.
6.6 Transferability & Geographic Limitations
This warranty is non-transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser.
Coverage applies only in territories where Svemko or its authorized dealers operate and support the product.
For cross-border or export usage, the customer must comply with all exporting/importing regulations and any associated costs.
6.7 Limitations of Liability / Legal
This limited warranty is your exclusive remedy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Svemko disclaims all other warranties, express or implied (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
Svemko will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages (including loss of use, lost revenue, or injury), and total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
Some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; thus, those disclaimers may not apply to you.
If any portion of this warranty is legally unenforceable in a jurisdiction, that portion is severed, and the rest of the warranty remains in effect.
6.8 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This warranty is governed by the laws of (choose your jurisdiction, e.g. Norway / EU). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of (specify venue) unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
6.9 Effective Date / Updates
This warranty is effective from the original purchase date (proof required).
Svemko reserves the right to update or revise these warranty terms; however, revisions will not apply retroactively to units already sold under prior terms unless legally required.
7. Safety, Compliance & Product Suitability
You are responsible for selecting products that meet your needs and for ensuring legal and safe use in your jurisdiction.
Always read the user manual before use.
Also read all safety warnings, and applicable standards. Products may require professional installation, certification, or periodic inspection.
8. Licensing & End Use
Certain products (e.g. silencers) may require export/import licenses and end-use/end-user declarations. We may refuse, cancel, or delay any order pending compliance checks, and we will not ship where prohibited by law or policy.
9. Privacy & Cookies
Our processing of personal data via the Websites is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference. Please review them carefully before using the Websites.
10. Disclaimer (Websites)
Svemko are not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, or use of, the Websites. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on the site is provided to you “as is” without warranty of any kind as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials, or products included on this site. You expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk. Svemko disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that content is current, complete, or free of harmful components.
11. Disclaimer (Products)
Except as expressly provided in Section 7 (Svemko Limited Warranty) and any non-excludable statutory rights, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11.1 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to these Terms, the Websites, or products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Consumers: This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
11.2 Disclaimer
This information is important for your safety and may affect your responsibilities and legal rights under applicable law. Not following the instruction manual and warnings may result in serious injury to yourself and others and to assets such as firearms, silencers (suppressors) and other equipment, including objects in your proximity.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Svemko's maximum liability for damage to persons, objects or property caused by the use of Svemko's products is limited to the purchase price you have paid for the product(s). Svemko is only responsible for direct losses that incurred as a result of using our product(s) in a correct manner and in accordance with our instruction manual. Damage to persons, objects or property caused by incorrect use of Svemko's products is not Svemko's responsibility and any loss or damage will not be covered by Svemko.
11.3 Warning
- Never use Svemko products before reading the user manual
- Never store silencers mounted on a firearm.
- Always ensure that the silencer is correctly mounted and properly fastened before and during use(!).
- Always inspect the silencer and barrel threads for damage and dirt before use.
- Always verify that the silencer is approved for your caliber.
- Not all silencers are designed for magnum cartridges. If you are unsure, you can contact us at support@svemko.com.
12. Limitation of Liability

13. Indemnification (Business Customers)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, business customers shall indemnify and hold Svemko, its affiliates, and personnel harmless from third-party claims, damages, fines, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) breach of these Terms, (b) unlawful use or resale of products, or (c) violation of export/sanctions laws.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes, cyber incidents, epidemics, natural disasters, utility failures, governmental actions, supply chain disruptions).
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Websites or cancel orders for breach, fraud, non-payment, or legal/compliance reasons. You may stop using the Websites at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) will continue after termination.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in connection with them or the Websites/products shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Venue: The courts of Oslo, Norway shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that Consumers may bring claims in the courts of their habitual residence as required by mandatory law.
If you are a Consumer in the EEA/UK, you may also have access to out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms (e.g., EU ODR platform).
17. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms (plus order confirmations, RMA instructions, and policies referenced herein) form the entire agreement regarding the Websites and products.
Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
Language: We will provide translations; the English version controls in case of conflict.
Notices: We may provide notices via the Websites, email, or your account. You may send legal notices to the address in Section 1.
